A service for Camden residents over the age of 55. It offers a counselling service, including special counselling for BME and people with dementia including Alzheimer’s disease (with help also available for family and carers) and group therapy (up to 8 person per group); support and advice for financial and housing problems, and accessing social care, health services and social activities in the local area; Dementia advice service, ethnic minority groups, LGB&T support for over 50’s; and computing classes are among other available services.

A centre for Camden residents over the age of 60, that provides a variety of activities including Lunches, art, pottery, drama, crafts, bingo, computer access and internet based learning, quizzes, massage, relaxation groups, chair-based gentle exercise and poetry appreciation.

London Irish Centre

A centre for Irish people over the age of 55 with low to moderate needs, that provides home cooked meals, computer classes, art classes, access to health practitioners, information days, Irish language classes, day trips, referrals to other services, gentle exercise sessions and various activities (e.g. bingo, quizzes).

Older Person’s Outreach Service

A service for Irish people over the age of 55 with mobility problems who are unable to come to the Centre. The service offers Benefits advice including Irish pensions, housing advice, returning to Ireland, obtaining Irish birth certificates and passports, accessing health and care services, funeral planning, and referring & signposting to further services.

St Pancras Community Centre Older Peoples Project

The service is for Camden residents over 50. It runs activities and workshops including cane and raffia basketry, bingo, and gentle yoga. Its Good Neighbour Scheme offers older people support and company at home, help getting out and about, and an opportunity to share skills.

The Claremont Project

The service is for Islington residents but also some spaces for Camden residents over the age of 55. It offers different activities including art/painting, art therapy, theatre group, drama/movement therapy, ballet/contemporary dance, choir, film club, keep fit, sequence dancing, ballroom dancing, salsa, computing for fun, quizzes, piano sessions, line dancing, tai chi, arts exploration, yoga, music therapy, psychotherapy, raffles, and occasional parties and outings.
