Spear Pre-employment Training Course

The service is for 16-24 year olds who would like support in entering sustainable work or education. It provides a free, interactive, 6-week course that supports young people with interview training and practice, writing a CV, help with job applications, confidence building, customer service qualification and job opportunities. Spear offers ongoing support for up to a year after the 6-week course has been completed with 1-1 follow-ups.

St Luke’s Centre

Provide and host over 65 weekly activities ranging from after-school clubs to care for the elderly, from cookery projects to corporate volunteering for City employees.

The Claremont Project

The service is for Islington residents but also some spaces for Camden residents over the age of 55. It offers different activities including art/painting, art therapy, theatre group, drama/movement therapy, ballet/contemporary dance, choir, film club, keep fit, sequence dancing, ballroom dancing, salsa, computing for fun, quizzes, piano sessions, line dancing, tai chi, arts exploration, yoga, music therapy, psychotherapy, raffles, and occasional parties and outings.

Offers several services for young people in Islington, including support when you are experiencing difficulties with relationships.

The Maya Centre

For long term counselling and psychological support to some of the most vulnerable women in our community; women who have experienced severe trauma through domestic violence, abuse in childhood or overseas in war and conflict.
