Camden Carers Service
For any unpaid adult (18+) carer in Camden who looks after or supports a family member, close friend or neighbour who could not manage without his or her help. Provides counselling service, support groups, advice and information, social and leisure activities, and referrals to other services.
Camden Chinese Community Centre
For Chinese people living in Camden, including those who are socially isolated, women, children, and older adults. Provides advisory service, community development, housebound service, needs assessment, elderly club, nursery club, women’s group, ESOL classes, advocacy service.
Camden Community Drug Service
Camden Community Drug Service is a free and confidential drug service for adults in Camden and Kilburn. Provides a welcoming, open access service for Camden residents who are experiencing difficulties with drugs. Works with people who are using any type of drugs, including: opiates, stimulants, cannabis and new psychoactive drugs.
Advice and information, assessment and referral, on-site enhanced needle exchange service and hostel in-reach provision across Camden. Services include: structured one-to-one support, group work, counselling, complimentary therapies (full body acupuncture and shiatsu), and harm minimisation workshops.
Camden DIP (Drugs Intervention Project)
Supports people, whose drug use drives their criminal activity, into effective drug treatment.
The service is for anyone over the age of 18, living in Camden and needing mental health support. The service helps individuals to explore services and activities within the Hub and the borough that are best suited to them (e.g. housing association, dance classes, sport centre, mindfulness courses etc.).
Camden Learning Disabilities Service
The service is for people with learning disabilities in Camden. It provides assessments, social work, care management, community support and specialist health services.
Camden Listening and Counselling Centre
One-off crisis listening service to people who need someone to talk with, 12-14 sessions of low-cost counselling for those needing longer term support.
Offers one-to-one counselling, support and capacity building service for people who are struggling with mental distress.
Camden Mind the Gap Transitions Team
The service is for 16-24 year olds who are complex and/or where staff are unsure of the appropriate adult service to approach. The Transitions Team will also review cases in adult services where there is concern about disengagement. It provides outcome focused interventions based on the young person’s goals and aspirations and facilitate transition to adult services.
